Mahesh Bhatt said, ‘I was in a relationship with Parveen. When you are with someone, you want to spend time with them. During the shooting of the film, Parveen had a mental health issue and she fell ill, so I had to stop the film. Then we took Rekha ji in this film and shot the entire film again. But due to lack of finance, the film could not be completed.’
